Tata Sierra Legend Series Launched at Rs 11.99 Lakh: Features and Variants
Tata Motors has launched the Sierra Legend Series in India at Rs 11.99 lakh, with premium cabin features, multiple trims, new colours and three existing engine options.
The Legend Series will be sold alongside the existing standard Sierra range. The lineup includes the Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L(O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L trims. Each higher trim retains the features of the variant below it while adding another layer of comfort and convenience. This approach gives buyers the option to move to higher feature levels without a major jump in budget.
The Sierra Legend Series is offered in several premium colour options, including Pristine White, Pure Grey and Coorg Clouds. The Munnar Myst colour is available from the Pure L variant, while Bengal Rouge - Tinted and Andaman Adventure colours are offered on the Pure+ L and Adventure+ L variants.
The Smart+ L serves as the entry-level variant. It gets leather-like finished seats, premium leather-finished trims and armrests on the doors, steering-mounted controls, auto-folding outside rear-view mirrors (ORVMs), 17-inch steel wheels with full wheel covers and roof rails. Safety features across the entire series include six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), disc brakes on all four wheels and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold as standard.
The Pure L adds a touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-speaker sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear parking camera with guidelines, cruise control, multiple drive modes, Hill Descent Control, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), 17-inch alloy wheels and a rear wash-wiper.
The Pure+ L brings a full leather treatment to the cabin. It also gets a 6-way power-adjustable driver's seat with a thigh-support extender, a 'Boss Mode' for rear passengers, dual-zone automatic climate control, a one-touch anti-pinch window for the driver, USB-C chargers for the rear row and several other utility features.
The Adventure+ L sits at the top of the Legend Series lineup. It features a 360-degree HD surround-view camera system with a 4Sight blind-spot view, front parking sensors and LED fog lamps with a cornering function. The variant also gets 'Superglide' suspension with frequency-dependent damping, Normal/Wet/Rough terrain modes, a large digital screen, two-stage reclining functionality for the rear seat, a rear armrest, mood lighting, a cooled glovebox and wireless phone charging.
There are no changes to the powertrain lineup for the Legend Series. The Tata Sierra continues with three engine options: the Revotron 1.5L petrol engine, Kryojet 1.5L diesel engine and Hyperion 1.5L TGDI turbo-petrol engine.
Depending on the variant, transmission options include a 6-speed manual (6MT), 6-speed automatic (6AT) and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (7DCA).
With the Legend Series, Tata Motors has expanded the Sierra range with additional styling, cabin treatments and features while retaining the existing engine and transmission options.
